Woodard Cemetery

George County Mississippi

 

Traveling west out of Lucedale, Ms. on Highway 98 by-Pass, you will come to the community of Bexley, Ms.. There will be a small country store on your
right by the name of Carolyn’s Community Grocery. Take the road to the right just before you enter the store parking area, this road is named Bexley road North.
You will go 1.09 tenths of a mile, Woodard Cemetery road will be on your right. Take this Woodard Cemetery road, you will go .06 tenths of a mile and
Woodard cemetery will be on your left. There is an American Flag Display in the center of the cemetery and a chain link fence surrounds the outside perimeter of
the cemetery. It is very well maintained with all plots in strait rows. The cemetery was walked on Mar 3rd, 2007 by Jimmy Trussell, carverofwood1260@wmconnect.com
and all information was taken from tombstone inscriptions and temporary grave markers.
