Pipkins Cemetery (Avent)
George County, Mississippi

We'll start our trip to this cemetery at the intersection of Highway 26 and Highway 57 in Benndale, Mississippi. Take Highway 57 North
approximately 10 miles, you will come to Faith Baptist Church on the right. There is a road (Breland Road), that is on your right between the
church parking lot and the church cemetery. Take this right hand turn onto Breland road, follow it about ¼ mile and the Pipkins Cemetery will be
on your left. This is an old family cemetery that over the years has ben used by many in the community. Maintenance and upkeep is done by family members.
The cemetery has a fence on all sides and was in good condition.
The cemetery was walked on the 30th of October, 2007 by Jimmy Trussell. All information was gathered from headstone inscriptions and temporary grave markers.
