Midway Cemetery

This
cemetery is
located in the Southeastern part of George County, Mississippi. These
directions to the cemetery will begin in Lucedale, Mississippi.
You will leave
Lucedale on Highway 613, when you approach Agricola, Mississippi
Highway 612
will be on your left. Take this exit left across the railroad
tracks and
continue east toward Mobile,
Alabama. You will travel
several
miles coming to an intersection with Howell Tanner Chapel Road on your
right, and
Tanners
Grocery on the left. Take this right hand turn and go approximately 2
miles, Midway
Baptist Church will be on your
left and the cemetery is located
beside the church. The cemetery is surrounded
by a chain link fence and is well kept. There were a couple of unmarked
graves
in this cemetery.

walked this cemetery on the 26th of November 2007, and the
information was taken from headstone inscriptions and temporary grave
markers.
The cemetery belongs to and is maintained by Midway Church
and its members.
