Traveling West out
of Lucedale on Highway 98 by-pass you will come to the
approximately
another ½ mile and take the first
blacktop road to your right. This
exit to the right will be
you will travel 3.0 tenths miles to the
first blacktop road
to the right. This is
on your left
as soon as you enter Ford James Road In the past this cemetery has
occasionally
been referred to as the Ball cemetery also.
I walked this cemetery on March 02, 2007
and all information was taken
from headstone inscriptions and from the temporary grave markers.
The cemetery
is well kept and surrounded by a chain link fence on all sides. There
are
several unmarked graves in this cemetery.
