Dan A. McLeod Cemetery
Greene County, Mississippi

Travelling south out of Leakesville, Mississippi on highway 63 you will go 2.3 thenths of a mile. This will be the intersection with
Vernal River Road, Take this right hand (west) turn and proceed  west on this road another 9.2 tenths of a mile. Here you will see
Vernal/Mcinnis Road on your left, turn left at this intersection and go 1.3 tenths of a mile. On your right will be a sign , “Dan A. McLeod Cemetery”,
there is a grassy road leading through a clearing in the woods. Follow this lane .2 tenths of a mile and the cemetery will be at the dead end of this lane.
There is no fence surrounding this cemetery, however, it is well kept and is still today owned by the McLeods and their decendents.
The cemetery was walked on April 13^th, 2007 by Jimmy Trussell,  carverofwood1260@wmconnect.comand all information was gathered from headstone inscriptions.
