Barton Baptist Church Cemetery
George County, Mississippi

Traveling south from Lucedale, Mississippi on highway 63 South you will go approximately 12 miles and Barton Baptist Church will be on your left. 
The Cemetery is located behind the Church. There is an American Flag display at the rear of the cemetery. The cemetery belongs to the church and
they are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance. The cemetery was walked on May 1st, 2007 by Jimmy Trussell, carverofwood1260@wmconnect.com
and all information was taken from headstone inscriptions and temporary grave markers. There were several unmarked graves, and the cemetery was in good shape.
I was given a little history lesson as to when the church and cemetery were first started by Mr. Burt Glidewell, as I walked the cemetery.
