four lane by-pass. Continue south for 6.0 miles and you will come to
the
intersection with
intersection and go 5.2
tenths of a mile. Here you will see the
of a mile on your left. This
cemetery is located across the road from Agricola Baptist Church, but
is the
community cemetery. The cemetery is
directed by a Board of Trustees. These
trustees are Mr. Elton Brown, Mr. Hardy Vise, and Mr. Travis Baxter.
I was
given permission to walk this cemetery by Mr. Elton Brown. The cemetery
is in
good condition and is surrounded by a chain link fence.
The maintenance and
upkeep for the cemetery is done by a private individual.
I walked the cemetery
on April 26th,2007, and all information was taken from
headstone
inscriptions and temporary grave markers.
There were several unmarked graves in
the cemetery. There were 266 readable inscriptions in this cemetery.
